06 / Common questions
A few things to know.
Do you only rebuild old websites?
No. A newer site can need work too. We can help when the pages are unfinished, confusing or no longer reflect the business.
Do you build brand-new websites?
Yes. Starter, Core and Full Site projects can be new builds or rebuilds. The amount of work determines the fit.
Do you build custom websites or use templates?
The site is shaped around your business. Even a starter site has its layout, wording and customer paths chosen for what you need.
Do you write the content?
Yes. Bring your existing pages, notes or service information. We use those facts and the questions your customers ask to write the pages.
Do you handle photos?
Yes. We help select and prepare photos for the pages. If you need new photographs, we can work with your photographer or connect you with someone we have worked with.
Is SEO included in the website design?
Yes. Page titles, headings, metadata and internal links are part of the work. We also check loading speed and make sure the content answers customer questions. Search rankings are not guaranteed.
What is the difference between a website redesign, rebuild, and refresh?
A refresh makes smaller changes to the words, images or layout. A redesign changes more of the page experience. A rebuild also revisits the structure and technical setup. We agree the depth of work after looking at the site.
What platforms do you build on?
We choose the setup for the project. It should be straightforward to maintain and suited to the updates you expect to make.
Can I update the site myself?
We can plan for that. Some owners want to edit the pages themselves. Others prefer to send changes for us to handle.
Do you offer ongoing updates?
Yes. Site Care covers routine changes, small fixes and checks after launch. It can also include simple hosting support for small sites. One-off updates are available if you do not need a monthly plan.
Do you help with Google Business Profile updates?
Yes. We can help keep your profile’s business information consistent with the website. You may still need to approve or verify changes.
